Authority
The Hyde County Board of Health is the policy-making, rule-making, and adjudicatory body for the Hyde County Health Department. The composition of the board shall reasonably reflect the population makeup of the county, and members are appointed by the Hyde County Board of Commissioners. Each board member may serve a maximum of 3 years. The Board of Health is charged with responsibilities as outlined by North Carolina General Statutes (G.S. 130a-35b).
